I really liked this movie. Michael B. Jordan was great like always, but newcomer Miles Caton playing Sammie Moore might have been the standout performance of the film. The cinematography was breathtaking. It was fun, the music was excellent, and it took a few risks that really paid off. I love seeing original films again, and I hope more directors get the chance to make them soon.
